Contains per ml:
Norfloxacin……………… 200 mg.
Excipients ad…………… 1 ml.
Norfloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, and Mycoplasma spp.
Treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD-complex), Colibacillosis, Fowl cholera, Staphylococcosus and Streptococcus infections in poultry.
Hypersensitivity to norfloxacin.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired hepatic and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to quinolones.
Administration to juvenile animals can lead to arthropathy.
Hypersensitivity reactions, gastrointestinal disturbances, excitation.
For oral administration:
– Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 10 ml per 75 – 150 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.
– Poultry: 25 mililitres per 100 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.
– For meat
Calves, goats and sheep: 4 days.
Poultry : 4 days.
Store in a dry and cool place between 15OC and 25oC, avoid direct sunlight.
